2. Visiting the website

Server log data

When the website is opened, your browser sends technically necessary information to the web server. This may include IP address, date and time, requested page, transferred data volume, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and requesting provider.

Processing ensures secure and reliable delivery of the website and prevents misuse under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is retained only for as long as required for these purposes or by law.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The website currently uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services and no non-essential cookies. Fonts are served locally, so opening the website does not connect to Google Fonts.

3. Using the ever2 app

Registration and account

An account is required. For email registration, we process your name, email address and protected password. With Sign in with Apple, Apple provides a unique identifier and, depending on your selection, your name and email address or an Apple relay address.

This data is used to create, authenticate and manage your account and provide app features under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Profile and relationship data

Depending on your use, we process voluntary data such as display name, date of birth, profile picture, topic preferences and notification settings. Shared features also process partner or group links, invitation identifiers, relationship dates and first-meeting dates.

This is used to provide your profile, shared content, reminders and personalized features under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Voluntary data can be changed or removed in the app.

Answers, games and messages

ever2 stores answers, quiz and game entries, history and shared discussion messages on our servers so they can be saved and shown to connected people.

Answers may contain personal or intimate information. You decide what to provide. We use it only for your chosen app features, not for advertising, tracking or profiling. Do not enter personal data about unrelated third parties.

Visibility to connected people

Certain profile details, answers, game results and messages are visible to the person or people you connect with using an invitation code. A connection can be ended in the app; associated shared data is deleted according to the notices shown there.

Profile pictures

If you voluntarily upload a profile picture, it is sent to our server and stored for display to connected people. It can be changed or deleted in the app.

Push notifications

With your consent, ever2 may send notifications about answered questions, reminders or anniversaries. We process a device identifier or push token and notification preferences and use Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Notifications can be disabled in the app or iOS settings. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Technical communication and local storage

The app communicates with the ever2 server using encryption. Technically necessary connection and server logs arise. The device stores login status and settings needed for app functions. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and security and stability interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recording acceptance

At registration we store the accepted Terms version, acknowledged Privacy Policy version, registration time and registration method to document the contract and meet legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

4. Apple App Store and Apple services

The app is provided through the Apple App Store. Apple processes personal data under its own responsibility during downloads, App Store transactions and use of Apple services. Payment and billing data is processed directly by Apple and is not provided to us.

See Apple’s Privacy Policy. Sign in with Apple and push notifications exchange only data required for those functions.

If a premium subscription is offered in the future, we will process App Store transaction data required to verify and manage entitlement, such as product identifier, transaction identifier, status and subscription period. We do not receive full payment details.

5. Recipients and processors

Within AGIBO UG, access is limited to people who need it to provide, maintain or support ever2. Hosting and IT providers process data only on our instructions under appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal data or disclose it for advertising.

Data is disclosed to other recipients only where required for a requested feature, with your consent or where legally required.

6. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access and alteration. App-server communication is encrypted and permissions follow the need-to-know principle.

7. Retention and deletion

Personal data is retained only while required to provide the account and app features or to satisfy legal retention obligations. Voluntary profile information and pictures can be changed or removed in the app.

When an account is deleted, associated personal data and user-generated content are deleted unless legal obligations or legitimate grounds require limited continued retention. Deletion options are available in app settings. Privacy requests may also be sent to domains@agibo.de.

8. Your rights

Where the legal requirements are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and withdrawal of consent for the future. You may object to processing under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint

You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Our competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia: www.ldi.nrw.de.

9. Changes to this Policy

We update this Policy when features, processing activities or legal requirements change. The current version is available on this page.
